"STOP IT!" I said, running from him. We had gotten a few beers because they didn't card us and he was chasing me back to his car. He caught up to me, and grabbed me spinning me in a circle. "JARROD! STOP!" I shouted, giggling. He was making me dizzy! He let go of me, and laughed. "You are so much fun." He said. "Whatever." I said. "You are! You were so quiet with Andy. I always thought you were so shy." He said. "I am, normaly! But I guess you bring out my fun side." I said, and he laughed. "Well, I'm glad." He said. I leaned against the passenger side of his car to catch my breath. He leaned on it next to me. "I'm not annoying you yet am I? He asked me. "Not at all! I'm having a blast." I told him. "Really? Most girls are totaly annoyed by me by now." He said. "stop hanging around snobby bitches!" I said, and he laughed. "Good point. Good point!" He said. I looked over at him. His hair was buzzed real close to his scalp, and his ear was peirced twice on one side. I started looking at a tattoo he had on the side of his neck. I had never really figured out what exactly it was. He turned his head and caught me staring. I smiled, and looked away real fast. "Were you checking me out?" He asked. "NO!" I said, blushing. "You were checking me out. That is so hot." He said, turning his body and facing me. I couldn't stop smiling and blushing. I just stared down at my red allstars. He reached over and touched the side of my face, and turned my head. "What?" I asked. He didn't say anything, just looked at me. Like he was studying me. I felt really awkward. "You look beautiful." He said, finally. I just smiled. I had no idea what to say. Andy was the only guy that had ever really paid attention to me before. Or maybe he wasn't and I just hadn't noticed. For a second I thought he was going to kiss me, and almost panicked. Then he took his hand away, and turned to look out at the street. "You don't have to look so freaked out. I'm not going to rape you or anything." He said, and a giggled. "Sorry. I'm just nervous." I said. "It's okay. I didn't mean to come off strong or anything." He said. "You didn't. I'm just not used to a guy paying attention to me like that." I said. "Really?" He asked, and looked back over at me. "Yeah." I said. "Well guys do. I know I did, but you were with Andy when I met you." He said. "I always thought you were hot." I said, then covered my mouth, shocked at what I just said. "You did?" He asked, smiling. I nodded my head yes, still holding my hand over my mouth. He laughed, reached up and pulled my hand away. Only he didn't let go, he just held it, and pulled me closer to him. My heart started racing, and my breaths got shorter. I couldn't believe how nervous I felt! But thinking about it now, Andy had been the only guy I was ever with. I had ever kissed even! He put his other arm around my waist, and then leaned foward and kissed me. Just softly once, and then looked at me. Like he was seeing if that was okay. I smiled, and leaned forward and kissed him back. He put his other arm around me and we stood there kissing for several minutes. "HEY! GET A ROOM!" Someone shouted. We both looked up, and two guys were standing about 20 feet away and laughing. "FUCK OFF!" Jarrod shouted, and flipped them off. "HEY, FUCK YOU JARROD!" One of the guys said, laughing. The two guys went inside. "Sorry. I know them." He said to me. "It's okay." I said, laughing. Seeing how he reacted made me think of Andy. If that had happened Andy would have just laughed, and not said anything. I still couldn't believe he had joined the Army. He was always such a peaceful easy going guy. I sighed unconsciously. "What's wrong?" Jarrod asked. "Uh?" I asked. "Thinking about Andy?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "Oh. Sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have-" He started to say. "No, it's okay." I told him, and smiled. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded yes. We climbed in his car and drove back to his place. When I went to hug him goodbye in his driveway he brushed my hair away, and kissed my neck, giving me the chills. "I should go." I whispered. "Awww. Okay." He said, and made a pouty face. I giggled, and hugged him one more time. He waived goodbye as I climbed into my car and drove off. I took the long way back home, that went around the city so I could think. I had a lot of things to think about. But everytime I tried I ended up just thinking of kissing Jarrod.
